Spelling Bee 2024
Dear Parents / Guardians
This year we have been developing our teaching and learning of Spelling & Phonics across our classes. As part of our developments, we are excited to have our first ever ‘Spelling Bee’. Every child from P2 to P7 has an opportunity to take part and go ‘head-to-head’ at the Spelling Bee in front of an audience of pupils on Wednesday 24th April 2024. Spellings used will be from our updated Spelling Scheme we have been using this year in school.
Entry will be free. Please note, although we would love everyone to take part, it is not compulsory. You can discuss this with your child at home and teachers will also do likewise. Each class from P2 – P7 will have a Spelling Bee Winner who will receive a Prize.
Spelling Bee Champion - The overall school winner will receive a Trophy and a Prize.
Should you wish for your child to take part, please complete the form below and return to your class teacher by Friday 19th April 2024.
