You can help to slow the spread of Coronavirus!

  • Make sure you and your children follow these general principles to prevent spreading any respiratory virus:
  • Wash your hands often – with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitiser if soap and water aren’t available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you feel unwell, stay at home and don’t attend work or school.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a bin.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in the home.
  • If you’re worried about your symptoms, please call NHS 111 – don’t go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.

November Newletter - St Nicholas' News

18th May 2016

Dear Parent/Guardian

Ardnabannon recently contacted the school to inform us that they have unfortunately ‘double-booked’ another school on the same dates that had been confirmed for our school.

The only way around this double booking, was to decrease one of the full days.  This now means that the children will be attending Ardnabannon from Wednesday 22nd June – Friday 24th June 2016.  They will return to school on the Friday at 3pm.

We have ensured that the timetable for the children is as fun packed and full as possible in all activities (weather permitting).  Children will still be participating in activities such as rock climbing/abseiling, orienteering, adventure walk, bouldering, high ropes course and trip out to Newcastle.

The trip is now costing £105. Those who have paid the full amount already can call to the Office for a £25 refund.

Many thanks for your understanding on this matter.

Yours sincerely
