• Anti-Bully Week 2021 - ‘One Kind Word’ 15th-19th November 🧦 On Monday, we will be celebrating ‘Odd Socks Day’ by wearing unusual socks to school! (Normal uniform apart from the odd socks!) 🗣✋During the week we will also have NSPCC Anti-bullying TALKS in each class with a focus on promoting Kindness.

  School returns after our half-term tomorrow morning. 

  Reminders: 

  🍁1,2,3 Wraparound Club recommences tomorrow & available for our P1-P3 pupils. (Including Art Attack Sessions on Tuesdays!) Book early to secure a place!

  🍁🎨👩‍🎨 👨‍🎨After School ‘Art Attack’ Club with Artist Martina commences on Tuesday 9th November 3pm to 4pm for 6 weeks- available for P4-P7 pupils.
   (Very limited spaces left!)

  🦠COVID is still prevalent in the community so please remember to Drop & Run in the mornings and Collect & Go in the afternoons. Adults are asked to continue to wear face masks on our school site and pupils should use their designated entrances.

  Updated PHA Covid Guidance- Flowchart

  It is essential that we follow the guidelines for a school aged CHILD from the PHA:

  ⚠️If your child is a close contact of a positive case they must stay home and have a PCR test immediately (not lateral flow)
  ⚠️If the test is positive your child should isolate for 10 days. 
  ⚠️If the test is negative your child can return to school but you should then book a 2nd PCR test to take place on day 8 for your school aged child.
  ⚠️Day 8 is 8 days after the last contact with the positive case if your child does not live with them. If your child does live with the positive case then day 8 is 8 days after the person tested positive or 8 days after the person started showing symptoms (whichever came first)
  ⚠️Your child can attend school whilst they wait for their day 8 test results unless they have started to show Covid symptoms. 
  ⚠️If your child tests positive on day 8 then s/he must now begin to  isolate for 10 full days from the date of the positive test. We must be notified immediately as your child will need to be removed from school along with their bubble classmates (who will now be close contacts and will need to follow the advice above)
  ⚠️Please note if your child  is a contact of a positive case but your child has tested positive in the last 90 days then your child  does not need to isolate or have a Covid test unless they start to develop Covid symptoms. 
  ⚠️It is essential that we are informed of all results. To make this easier for us to process simply send a screen shot of your child’s test result via email to kburns395@c2kni.net
