• 'Hats and Shades' NSPCC Day

  The boys and girls had a great time with their 'Hats and Shades' theme today in conjunction with a visit from the NSPCC. Thanks to the parents/boys and girls for the donations they brought in. This was presented to the ladies from the NSPCC after their fantastic workshops and assembly. 😎👍

  

• GAA match

  Thanks to all who turned out on a wet and windy evening to represent our parish schools. The future of Ardglass GAA is bright with the great display of the pupils during the half time match. Well done boys and girls! A big thanks to Ruth Curran, Paul O'Shea and our senior players who have been coaching the pupils in school on Fridays. 

  

• Cycle to School Day

  󾟫󾟫󾟫Cycle to School Day:

  Our Road Safety Week finished off with our focus very much on Cycle Safety and Fun! 

  Over 30 KS2 pupils cycled safely from the Marina with Mr Burns, Mr Gilchrist and Miss McGrady. On arrival at school, pupils were rewarded with tea and toast! 

  We took advantage of the sunshine this morning and all pupils got out to practise their cycling skills in the yard. 
  P1- P4 pupils were great at zig-zagging the cones.

  After lunch, Staff from Halfords arrived and were fantastic in showing pupils lots about bicycle maintenance. 

  We hope Miss McGrady and Mr Gilchrist made it home safely to Downpatrick after they cycled to school today!

  Welcome to our brand new school website!

  We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving.

   

  The website is currently under construction and will be updated with lots of information. 

  Dont forget to view our calendar section to see how busy the term is for the children and for you to keep an eye on also.

• Walk to School Day

  The children had a great day walking to school with the staff. 

  Our Road Safety Walk to School this morning was a great success with over 90 pupils walking in our train from the Marina. Pupils got juice and biscuits on arrival to school after their walk.
