  🎄 Friends of St Nicholas PS Ardglass Grand Christmas Draw 🎅 

  ‼️Raffle Tickets went home today with pupils, Tickets also available at our School Office and can also be purchased on Tuesday at the Christmas Plays‼️

  Our Friends of St Nicholas PS Support Group have put together some fantastic prizes this Christmas and even more prizes to be added to the list above!

  Christmas Carols at the Ardglass Christmas Tree 🎄 

  That’s the start of the festive season in Ardglass 🎄. 

  Well done to Ardglass Festival Association for putting together a great evening of entertainment.

  Thanks to pupils for lovely singing and great accompaniment from Regina and our other staff members for helping out. Great also to have past pupil Paulo Ross turning on the lights!

  

• Our advent wreath

  Our Advent Wreath 🙏 

  Tamara, Tianna, Marcus & Kian collected our Advent Wreath for School from Dunsford and Ardglass Parish at Mass on Saturday evening. 

  Classes across our school will celebrate Advent over the next few weeks, making use of the Advent Wreath during class prayertimes.

  Our KS2 Carol Service 🎵 🎶 ⭐️🙏

  We hope everyone enjoyed our KS2 Carol Service this evening.

  Our young violinists, tin whistlers, Singers,choir and narrators retold the First Christmas beautifully with music, voice and drama. 

  Many thanks to Mrs Wilson & our KS2 staff for putting the Service together and thanks also to Miss Gowdy, Mr McCabe and Regina for lovely musical accompaniment.

  Many thanks to our Friends Support Group for lovely refreshments afterwards too!

  ⭐️Credit Union Art Competition Winners⭐️

  Well done to Arabella & Tianna who won prizes for their entries in Downpatrick Credit Union Ltd Art Competition. 

  Their winning entries depicted visually what their local Ardglass Community meant to them. 

  Both very worthy winners. 👩‍🎨 👩‍🎨⭐️⭐️👏👏👏

  🏆Attendance Achievent Award for P1 🏆 

  Congratulations to our P1 class who won the Award for Best Average Attendance in Term 1. 

  P1 achieved an average attendance of 95.9% and received a little cooler lunch bag each courtesy of Fiona from Ardglass Eurospar and will also have a class party to celebrate their excellent attendance! 🎉 🥳

  Reading Partnership Success Celebration📖 📚 

  Congratulations to our group of pupils who participated in a 12 week block in Term 1 of our Reading Partnership Programme. 

  Pupils showed a great interest and enthusiasm in shared reading with their adult partner during this time. Also importantly, all pupils’ final assessments showed all their reading ages increased during this period.
