  Restart of School Update - January 2021

  Dear Parents / Guardians,

  Please find attached the announcement from Minister Peter Weir today regarding the restart of schools in January. 

  We will be having a School Development Day (Staff only) on Thursday 7th January 2021 to prepare further for a safe restart to Term 2. 

  As it stands, we aim to reopen classes to Key Workers Children and Pupils in the identified DE Vulnerable Categories on Friday 8th January 2021 for supervised learning. Email kburns395@c2kni.net if you wish to avail of this provision.

  All other pupils will have school work online using their Google Classroom for Friday 8th January from 9am.

  We hope to reopen all classes to all pupils on Monday 11th January 2021. 

  Please note that due to the nature of this ever-changing COVID-19 Pandemic things may change but we will aim to keep good communication with you at home.

  We are delighted to be getting a new school GAA kit sponsored by

  Ard Ghlais CLG, Ardglass GAC

  as part of the club’s 50th Year Celebration. We are inviting pupils to design their own School GAA Kit using the ‘i-Create’ platform. Your design ideas will help us greatly!

  TUE & WED- 2-7pm ‘Santa’s Workshop 🎅 ’ OPEN in our School Eco-Garden- open to the whole community (family bubbles)

  Wednesday- Launch of ‘St Nicholas’ PS Seven Songs of Christmas’ 🎶🎵🎤🎥 

  Thursday- Key Stage 2 Christmas Dinner 🥘🎄, Special Visit 🎅 for our younger pupils & Pre-School pupils 
  *Christmas Jumpers Day for all pupils*

  Friday- ‘Virtual Open Day’ 🎥 launching 12noon for preschool families & children starting P1 in Sept 2021.
