  There was a lot of excitement around the corridors of St Nicholas’ today as Santa Claus took some time out of his busy schedule to visit our lovely pupils. 🎅

  🎁 Mission Christmas Donations Delivered 🎁 

   

  Mr Burns and a few elves dropped off the donated gifts into Harry Corry's in Downpatrick this morning. These will be delivered to Cool FM in Belfast and given to those in need over Christmas.

  It's going to be a busy week in school so we hope this helps parents/ guardians keep up with events and closing times each day. 

  St Nicholas' PS, Weekly Diary: 

  Monday- School Choir singing Carols @ King's Castle and Ardview Homes. Normal closing times. 

  Tuesday- Christmas Dinner & Christmas Jumper Day, Confessions and Santa Visiting P1-P4. School closes at 1pm for all Pupils.

  Wednesday- Christmas Disco 1-2pm. School closes at 2pm for all pupils.  

  Thursday- School closes for the holidays at 11am.

  School re-opens on Monday 8th January 2018 with Breakfast Club running as normal.  

   ***Please note completed Applications for Primary 1 for Sept 2018 must be returned to our School Office before the deadline of Wed 10th January 2018.***

  🙏🎅It's a Baby & Christmas Praise 🎅🙏

  We hope you all enjoyed our Christmas Pageant today. The children from P1-P7 put on two performances that they can be proud of. Weren't they wonderful? Thanks for coming and supporting them. St Nicholas' feels very Christmassy this evening! 

   

  A big thanks to all the staff who prepared the boys and girls so well both in front and behind the scenes! Special thanks goes to Miss McCann, our P3 teacher for organising ‘It’s a Baby’ and Mrs Wilson for organising ‘Christmas Praise.’ Thanks also to our hard working classroom assistants and parents who helped out with all of the costumes.   The children and staff added their finishing touches to their Christmas Nativity plays today. They're very excited about performing in front of their families and friends.
