P4 enjoyed this weeks ABL session where we researched the origin of our names, drew pictures of and discussed our favourite memories, worked on our measuring skills, played a body parts instruction game and labelled parts of the body (Mighty Me Topic) 👏🏼

12.10.23 Activity Based Learning 👏🏼 This week our focus was on making symmetrical butterflies, continuing 2D shape patterns, working on editing sentences with Capital letters and Full stops, building a dinosaur habitat and playing high frequency word jenga 🙂

5.10.2023 Activity Based Learning 😊 This week we focused on estimating and measuring, making our sound of the week and initials with Lego, creating dinosaur skeletons and labelling the parts of a dinosaur 🦕 we learned so much and had so much fun

28.9.23 Activity Based Learning🙂 This week we focused on 2D shapes, retrieving dinosaur info from a text, recycling and reusing materials, putting dinosaur names in alphabetical order and making our own craft dinosaurs 👏🏼

This week during activity based learning we investigated melting by trying to unfreeze some dinosaurs, we found out facts about our favourite dinosaurs from books, researched how to save endangered animals on the iPad, used recycled junk to make models and linked our numeracy topic measure with our dinosaur topic and measured out the length of different dinosaurs on the playground😊 P4 showed brilliant creativity and higher level thinking during this weeks session!
