The children enjoyed making scones with Mr Burns as part of our yummy yummy topic πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ³

The class thoroughly enjoyed our visit from β€œWee Bugs and Beasties” to end our topic of wild animals πŸ€πŸπŸ•·οΈ

This week, the children have been looking at animal footprints πŸ‘£ They enjoyed matching the animal to the correct footprint and then painting the animal footprints πŸ˜πŸ¦’

Today the children were learning about the Artic for our new topic Winter wonderland ❄️ The children enjoyed building igloos for the animals, writing facts about polar bears, creating arctic pictures on the chrome books and making penguins 🐧

Today the children talked about the weather in winter. We looked at the BBC weather forecast in Ardglass and pretended to be a weather presenter on the TV β˜€οΈπŸŒ§οΈ

Today the children learnt about the life and history of the famous Picasso. The children enjoyed creating their own Picasso inspired pictures.

Today the children learnt around the artist Kandinsky. We looked at some of his artwork and also had a go at creating our own 🎨

Today the children explored secondary colours. The children were given the three primary colours and were then challenged to make green, purple and orange by mixing colours. The children had lots of fun and were also able to create other colours such as brown and light blue.
