Physical Education

This week the children enjoyed practising their handball skills 🎾 The children practised catching with one hand and throwing the ball into a hoop.

The children worked hard to develop their throwing and catching skills with their partners. The children are much more confident now with throwing accurately to their friend 🏐

Today the children worked on new skills such as skipping and balancing πŸŽΎπŸ“

This week we enjoyed moving in different ways outside πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Today the children enjoyed PE outside. We practised our running, jumping and side steps while developing spacial awareness around us πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

This week we enjoyed PE with coach Liam who taught us some skills for Gaelic football ⚽️

Today the children loved exploring different movements. They crawled under objects, jumped over objects and bear crawled.

Today during PE, the children enjoyed parachute games linking to our topic Colour Chaos 🎨🌈

Today during PE, the children developed their throwing, jumping and balancing skills.

Today the children practised hitting the handball against the wall and catching it!

This week in PE the children enjoyed learning skills needed to play handball 🎾
